  • Since 2007, Calibri is MS's default font. It was replaced by Aptos today
    • It replaced Times New Roman
  • There were 5 original font candidates and Aptos won out
    • The creator Steve Matteson wanted the font to have the universal appeal of the late NPR newscaster Carl Kassell and the astute tone of the Late Show host Stephen Colbert
  • It is a sans-serif with a bit more human touch
