      • A taxi driver helps a German news reporter to get inside Gwangju in order to report on the events happening inside
      • Very entertaining, there are some plot holes and unexplained character behaviors but overall informative for me as it was not something I knew about

        • Started with the assassination of President Park Chung-hee on October 29, 1979
        • The military assumed background power
        • The pro-democracy movement that were suppressed during Park's presidency, were brewing
        • They demonstrated against martial laws that were enacted when Park died

    • The market might be rational but the people behind it are not, it is easy to get caught up wanting or needing trinkets that doesn't matter. The good things in life cost what they cost, but the unnecessary things are not worth it at any price.
